Woodworking Project Paper Plan to Build Shaker Dining Table

Create this simple Shaker-style dining room table for your home. Plan suggests using a framed 3/4″ hardwood plywood top on this table — the plywood top option will simulate the thick planking which is otherwise necessary for such a large surface. A “thumb molding” is shown for the table edges along with “bread-board” end battens, both typical Shaker features found on authentic pieces.

All joinery is shown in actual size while curved workpieces are all in full size. You can measure and trace straight from the drawing. A bill of materials doubles as an exact cutting list, there is a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements are provided.
