Fan Back Side Chair Kit

Add an heirloom side chair to your dining set by completing this Fan Back Side Chair Kit. These kits are museum-quality reproductions. The Fan Back Side Chair was developed around the 1770s and its the fan back design that distinguishes this chair from the standard bows of more traditional Windsors. Intermediate woodworkers will be able to complete this kit successful with the meticulously prepared parts and pre-bored holes that make up this kit. It takes about 10 hours to assemble. The hard maple spindles have been turned and pre-sanded. The poplar seat has been cut to shape and holes pre-bored at the proper angles, requiring only final shaping and sanding. The red oak bows have been steam-bent to the perfect shape, as well. This is a fantastic project for learning how to build a chair.

Due to the nature of this product, returns will only be accepted if all parts of the kit are still in an unused condition. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of the delivery date and the customer will be charged a 10% restocking fee.
