Ioroi Japanese Bench Chisel Set – 6 Piece

Ioroi Chisels are crafted in the highest tradition of classic Japanese style chisel making under the direction of Master Ioroi, third generation owner/operator of the Ioroi Chisel Workshop that was founded in Miki City in 1914. Chisels are built by forge welding a Shirogami #1 White Steel cutting layer to a softer iron top layer and attaching it to the handle with a tang protected and strengthened by a well polished ferrule. Handles feature a crisp shoulder and top striking ferrule. These chisels are meant to be used.
