The 1″ Flexcut Pro Chip Carving Knife features a full flat ground, deep angle chip carving blade in precision heat-treated 1095 steel, polished to a brilliant mirror finish. This knife excels at making the controlled plunge cuts needed for many chip carving styles. The deep angle of the blade, shorter choil length and narrow tapered detail tip provide the leverage and accuracy needed for very detailed chip carving cuts.

The Pro Series is Flexcuts most precise and durable carving tips yet. Every knife in the collection features a larger clearance between the choil and heel of the cutting edge so you will have a more consistent stropping experience keeping you sharper for longer.

The premium unvarnished Cherry handle has flat sidewalls, bold facets and curves in just the right places making the knife an absolute pleasure to hold. The bulk under the blade has been removed to eliminate interferences on tight cuts, and they added an index finger swell over the spine for extra power and superior control.
