The California Air Tools 10020SPC Ultra Quiet & Oil-Free Air Compressor is designed to be one of the quietest 2 HP air compressors in the industry having only 58 decibels of sound. The powerful 2 HP motor operates at only 1680 RPM which creates less noise and less wear.
The SP Series of Ultra Quiet Air Compressor Motors have been designed to increase duty cycle and allow for longer continuous run times. The oil-free dual piston pump system is engineered for high performance and maximum durability. It is designed to have a life cycle, before wear, of 3000+ hours. Its Japanese manufactured bearings are designed for improved performance for an increased life. The 8.0 Gallon Steel Air Tank is coated internally with epoxy to prevent any corrosion.
This units sound-proof cabinet is made of a sturdy metal frame with 1/4 acoustic sound proofing foam insulation to reduce noise by 30%. The cabinet has two latching doors to allow for easy access to the air compressor. This unit also has two cabinet exhaust fans which are used to remove air from the cabinet for cooler working conditions.
